WHO WE ARE
Deep cuts for the real ones.
It started with a Star Wars shirt.
Not a logo, not a lightsaber, not Yoda's face slapped on cotton. It was a black tee with a simple joke on it — Vader, in full armor, with a punchline underneath about exactly how much that suit must've cost him.
"Nice suit, Vader.
I bet that cost you an arm and a leg."
The shirt that started it all.
I wore it to a party. Dozens of people walked past it that night. One person got the joke. Just one. Everybody else saw a guy in a black shirt and moved on with their evening.
That one reaction was worth more than every blank stare combined. The way their face changed when it clicked — that's the whole business, right there. Not mass appeal. Recognition. The specific, electric joy of someone catching a reference and realizing you're the same kind of nerd they are.
That's what Nerd Enough is built on.
WHAT WE'RE INTO
If it's got a d20, a lightsaber, a hit point total, or a deep lore wiki nobody asked for — we're probably into it. Tabletop RPGs, old-school CRPGs, the kind of fantasy novels with three appendices and a pronunciation guide, sci-fi that takes itself a little too seriously, and movies we can quote scene-for-scene whether anyone asked us to or not.
We're not chasing whatever's trending this month. We're chasing the stuff that's been quietly living in our heads for years — the line from a book, the boss fight that broke us, the throwaway joke in a movie that somehow became core memory. If it made us stop and go "wait, I need this on a shirt," it ends up here eventually.
DEEP CUTS NOBODY UNDERSTANDS (YET)
We'll be honest — some of these shirts are too deep. We've made designs so specific, referencing things so archaic, that we've watched people stare at them at conventions with the exact same confused expression. No recognition. No laugh. Just polite confusion and a slow walk to the next booth.
And honestly? We wouldn't change it. Every shirt that goes over someone's head is just waiting for the right someone. The kind of person who stops dead in their tracks, points at their friend, and says "wait — is that—?" That reaction doesn't happen often. But when it does, it's the best part of the job.

WHERE YOU'LL FIND US
Mostly behind this screen, arguing about font choices and whether a joke is "too obscure" (it's never too obscure). But a few times a year, we pack up the booth and set up at conventions — meeting the people who actually wear this stuff, watching reactions happen in real time, and occasionally finding out a shirt we thought was a guaranteed hit means absolutely nothing to anyone in a 50-mile radius.
The Nerd Enough booth — somewhere between a con floor and a small kingdom of t-shirts.
That moment of recognition on someone's face when they get it — that's the whole reason we keep showing up.
